Erin
Producer & Editor-in-Chief
Born in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, Erin moved to DuPont, Washington shortly after birth where she spent her childhood. After attending Steilacoom schools K-12 and graduating June 1995, she moved out of the city late that year. She began attending Tacoma Community College and graduated with her Associates Degree in 1999. All the while she began working for State Farm Insurance Company in DuPont while continuing to live outside the city. Some of Erin’s fondest memories are those of hikes with her brother. The city was secluded and surrounded by trees, but with the addition of buildings like State Farm and Intel, the development was quick and the preservation efforts seemed lost. The once identifiable city, became less and less identifiable as new roads were added and trees continued to come down.
Erin earned her Bachelor’s from University of Washington, Tacoma in Interdisciplinary of Arts and Sciences in June 2002. Erin and Patrick have three children, two living. Ethan is 4 and Owen is 3. Her interests include writing (mostly poetry), scrap booking, and is just getting introduced to photography. She has also recently discovered the vast amount of written history there is on this area and thanks to Patrick, is just as interested in it as he is. We are happy to be living in DuPont again since 2006.
